Neighbourhood disputes are a common legal problem. To help unpack what legal rights people have in these situations, RNZ’s Jesse Mulligan spoke with Andrew Hubbard, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Citizens Advice Bureau NZ

What are your rights when it comes to neighbourhood disputes? If a neighbour throws a rock through your lounge window, for instance — as reported this week — this would be a police matter. But what about other, less cut-and-dry issues, like hostile interactions or lewd behaviour, playing music you don't like very loudly, or parking in what you deem to be 'your spot'? Andrew Hubbard, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Citizens Advice Bureau NZ, is here to help.
